Diya’s efforts in making Vocational Training a pillar for underprivileged



Diya India understands that Vocational Training is an important element of the nation’s education initiative. Diya India follows that In order for Vocational training to play its part effectively in the changing national context and for India to enjoy the fruits of the demographic dividend, there is an urgent need to redefine the critical elements of imparting vocational training to make them flexible, contemporary, relevant, inclusive and creative.




The Government is well aware of the important role of Vocational education and has already taken a number of important initiatives. Diya India works hand in hand with government to promote vocational training and is getting thousands of underprivileged youth enrolled in the courses under GRC Gender resource centre project in Delhi. Courses include tailoring, beautician course, computer training, fashion designing and training to make handmade creative craft material under the guidance of trained professional trainers at each centre.

Diya vocational training centre give emphasise on training women under the different projects initiated by in BPL and remote areas through the support of corporate houses and government products.GRC centre executed by Diya India and supported by government targets to reach more than lakh youth in underprivileged area. All the vocational training centres are running very smoothly and the students are really happy with the healthy environment and highly trained teachers and staff.
